Minecraft Earth is an Augmented Reality (AR) based game (similar to Pokemon Go) by using Augmented Reality the game is limited to a smaller number of devices which have support for Augmented Reality. Unlike Pokemon Go, you cannot turn off the AR features which limits the number of devices significantly.

Due to the fact that Android devices differ heavily. Some devices may not be capable of running Minecraft Earth.
Fixing the “your devices isn’t compatible with this version” error
Some android devices may get this error. The first thing to try if you encounter this is to install any updates for Android that you can.
- Go to your phone’s settings page
- Scroll down and tap “About Phone”
- Tap “System Updates”
- Tap “Check for updates”
- Download and install any new updates
